Happy Monday! Today is feeling particularly Monday-ish, so I thought I’d send you a little internet hug 🥰

As someone who has had a long career as a graphic designer, a career as a sewing instructor, and years as a sewing hobbiest, I feel pretty well versed in creativity and how it plays a part in our sense of self and how that can turn to imposter syndrome. Part 2: So where do you buy said budget friendly beginner machine?!

You could buy new from trusted retailers like (my links are in my bio please and thank you! 🩷)

You can find great used machines on Facebook Marketplace or at thrift stores! Just make sure they have all their parts and turn on/aren’t seized up!

DO NOT buy new super-cheap $30 Amazon machines! They often end up being the most frustrating place to start!!
