Many clients feel trapped in lifts, tunnels, or crowded bathrooms. Claustrophobia is an irrational fear of confined spaces; around 10 % of people in the UK experience it. Triggers include lifts, tunnels, and sealed rooms. Symptoms range from sweating, trembling, and shortness of breath to fear of losing control or dying.
