Breaking rules can be fun, but breaking the ruler is where real freedom begins. When there’s no ruler, there’s no constant measuring, no comparison to how life is supposed to look. Stop “should-ing” all over yourself, and don’t let other people’s expectations shape your path either. You are the only one who gets to decide how your life is evaluated. Stand confidently in who you are, and offer that same freedom to others. Judgment—of yourself or anyone else—is often just a clever distraction from deeper fears. Let go of the need to compare, approve, or prove. Drop the ruler. Clear the slate. Choose peace over pressure.

The first major snow of the winter is upon us. Today spend time with family enjoying the snow with sledding or playing in the snow. Well, it seems that we are going to get a little snow. To be safe for all involved (staff and clients), The Healing Storm Holistic Wellnes, LLC will be closed on Sunday, January 25, 2026. All appointments will be rescheduled and I'll be reaching out to make sure everyone is called, texted, and emailed. However, if you call the office, please leave a message, and we will return your call at the end of Saturday or on Sunday during business hours. As always, we do not assess late cancellation fees for extreme weather (the Govenor declared a state of emergency). Online rescheduling is not available since it is less than 36 hours before the appointment, so you'll have to call, text, or email to get rescheduled. We hope everyone stays home and warm during the winter storm and we'll see you back in the office when it clears out a bit.
