🎉 Celebrating walking independently! 🎉

KJ has been working hard since beginning physical therapy at just 6 months old—with no head control. Now, just after celebrating his 2nd birthday this May, all that dedication has led to an incredible milestone: independent walking! 🚶‍♂️💫

He has overcome visual challenges, trunk control difficulties, and coordination delays with so much determination and strength.

His PT Ms. Jules shared:
"He has worked so hard—overcoming visual difficulties and limitations in trunk control and coordination—to get to this milestone. We are so proud of KJ!"

Let’s hear it for KJ and this HUGE step forward! 💙👏

The Pediatric Movement Center is excited to announce our upcoming Diaper Drive during National Diaper Need Awareness Week!

Help give back to our community by participating in our Diaper Drive from September 15-19, 2025. All donations will be distributed by Blessed Provisions Diaper & Toiletry Bank to local families in need!

We will be collecting the following items:
- Diapers in sizes N-8 (open packages are welcome)
- Pull-ups and overnight diapers, all sizes (open packages are welcome)
- Baby Wipes (New and unopened packages)
- Diaper Cream (Must be unopened and within the expiration date)

Please drop off your donations in the designated bins in the lobby.

✨Milestone Moment: William "Liam"✨

Ms. Lizzie is so excited to share about Liam graduating from Occupational Therapy! 🎉

"Throughout his time in OT, he has worked hard to strengthen important skills and has achieved so much. He has mastered the tricky task of shoe tying and now tying his shoes like a pro! He has improved his ability to listen, focus, and complete tasks successfully. Finally, he discovered a passion for art and drawing (especially cats 😉) using his skills to create and express himself. His perseverance and creativity have made this journey a success. We are so proud of the hard work he has put in and the growth he has shown."

Way to go Liam!! Now you're off to try new things and continue to grow the skills you have learned in OT!! 💪🌟

🌊🐠 Splish, Splash, Summer Fun at PMC! 🐠🌊
This summer, Ms. Christina made a splash in her speech sessions with ocean-themed crafts and activities! From creating colorful sea creatures 🐙 to practicing speech sounds (like sandy seashells 🐚) our kids had a blast while building their communication skills.

We love combining creativity with therapy—it keeps learning fun, engaging, and full of smiles. 💛☀️

Great news—our next swim session kicks off next week and another begins the week of September 14th! 🎉 If your child is ready to keep building confidence, safety, and skills in the water, this is the perfect opportunity to dive in. 🌊✨

👉 $100 Swim Scholarships Available! Scholarships are awarded first-come, first-enrolled basis and are made possible by Pathfinders for Autism and their Swim Safety Program. Together, we can promote water safety and save lives 🌊✨

Eligibility: Scholarships are for individuals with an intellectual or developmental diagnosis.
