When we grow up without boundaries, we might receive messaging that it’s selfish to say “no” or to set limits with others. Or we simply have no frame of reference for what that would even look like. Then as adults we wonder why we struggle to say that daunting 2 letter word. If you think about it though it makes complete sense. Its not fair to expect ourselves to shift this overnight. Learning to set boundaries is TOUGH, be kind with yourself and start small.
