This light reveals, not rushes.

Under this ♏️🌕 Scorpio Full Moon, you may feel things stirring—old patterns, emotions, or truths that are ready to be seen.

There’s no need to force anything.

Just pause.
Sit with it.
Loosen your grip.

This is where the work begins—gently, honestly—before the light intensifies in the months ahead.

✨ It asks us, what are you noticing right now?

If you’re wanting to explore this more deeply, I’ve shared extended reflections and practices over on the Patreon.

Ritual doesn’t have to be elaborate.

It can be as simple as
making tea with intention,
lighting a candle,
or stepping outside and breathing.

Magic lives in the mundane
just as much as the intense moments.

How are you inviting more space and presence into your life?

If you’re wanting to explore mindfulness practices, check out the Pause Along the Path Mindfulness Moments over on the .of.the.old.ways Patreon (drop a 🌀 in the comments and I’ll send over the info) or join in me in person at a yoga or sound immersion session.

This monument and my time in Iceland have been on my mind a lot this weekend, while myself and other members of the Gràrvölur Seidhr Team assisted our leaders and as they led a wonderful intensive training.

Such deep gratitude for this living tradition that connects us to our Norse ancestors and the dedication of the talented practitioners and scholars that walk this path.

Over the past few months, I’ve been hearing the same thing again and again…

“I’m overwhelmed.”
“I don’t feel like myself.”
“I know I need to slow down, but I don’t know how.”

So I created something simple.

🌀 Pause Along the Path 🌀

A weekly mindfulness moment—
a space to step out of the noise
and come back into your body.

Each session weaves together:
gentle somatic breathwork,
sound, and quiet reflection…

rooted in seasonal rhythms
and earth-based awareness.

This week, we begin with the idea of interbeing—
a reminder that we are not separate from what sustains us.

You don’t have to do it all alone.
You were never meant to.

✨ New practices are shared weekly on Patreon

If you’ve been needing a softer place to land,
you’re welcome to join us.

If things have been feeling loud… this is your reminder that you are not separate from what sustains you.

This week I’m beginning a new mindfulness series on Patreon: Pause Along the Path

We start with the idea of interbeing—inspired by the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh—remembering that nothing exists on its own.

Each practice, much like the ones I lead in person,
weaves together: gentle breathwork, sound, and a quiet return to the body… with space to listen to your inner knowing.

🌿 New mindfulness moments shared weekly.

If you’ve been needing a softer place to land,
you’re welcome to join us on Patreon.

Herbalism Tip for the Kitchen:
Store fresh herbs 🌱 like cut flowers 💐

Trim any leaves below the water line, then place stems in a glass of water and keep them on the counter where they’re easy to reach.

For shorter stems, place them in a sunny window to begin propagating — watch tiny roots form until they’re ready to be planted.

✨ A simple way to keep herbs in your garden year-round… and a beautiful way to share them as gifts.

This helps:
→ extend freshness
→ encourage propagation
→ keep herbs accessible for daily use

Mint, basil, lemon balm, and other soft herbs do especially well this way.

If you’re wanting to explore this more deeply —
seasonal herbalism, plant energetics, correspondences, a little chaos gremlin astrology, and mindfulness practices —

you’re welcome to join me over on Patreon 🌿

There’s already so much in motion—
internally and externally.

This New Moon in Aries (April 17) feels less like a beginning
and more like a continuation.

Staying with what’s already unfolding
instead of searching for something new to start.

I shared a deeper reflection and
practice for this over on the Patreon
if you’re wanting to sit with it more intentionally.

You’re welcome to join us as we Walking the Labyrinth’s Path together. 💚🌀✨

So excited to lead this workshop on Sunday

Really looking forward to sharing about plant medicine that can support us through the energetic shifts of Spring and Summer!

Autumn and Winter installment is slated for September!!!

It’s easy to assume that if something feels off, we need to fix it.

Change it.
Push it.
Dig deeper.

But not every season asks for more effort.

Some seasons ask for awareness.

To pause long enough to notice
what’s already shifting—

in the body,
in your patterns,
in the way you respond to things that once felt heavy.

Growth doesn’t always announce itself.

Sometimes it’s quiet.
Subtle.
Easy to miss if you’re only looking for what’s wrong.

What growth do you need to celebrate right now? 💚

This afternoon, I stepped outside to begin harvesting dandelions — gathering the flower heads for infusing castor oil and honey — and found the garden teaming with life and plant allies.

Dandelion, bright and resilient as always.
Purple nettle, ready to offer support for allergy season along with the violets, growing low and soft, full of quiet nourishment.

Instead of moving quickly through the harvest, I slowed down.

I gathered a bit of each and made a simple backyard tea when I was done — a decoction of what was growing to support a moment of breath held by the season.

And it tasted like pure spring - I added a bit of my thyme, rosemary, and sage infused local honey to add even more respiratory support.

There’s something important in those moments.
Something I return to again and again in my practice.

Herbalism isn’t just about learning properties or memorizing uses.

It’s about relationship.

It’s about presence.

It’s about understanding how plants work together — and how they meet us where we are in a given season.

🌿

This is something we’ll be exploring in an upcoming gathering:

Herbalism for Spring & Summer
Sunday, April 19 | 1pm |

We’ll talk about:
• building relationships with the plants around you
• working with seasonal herbs in simple, accessible ways
• understanding energetic interactions (cooling, warming, drying, moistening)
• and how to begin supporting your body and home with what’s already growing nearby

It’s a gentle, community-centered learning space, where all are welcome - donation of $15 suggested. Virtual options are being explored.

If you’ve been curious about herbalism — or wanting to deepen your connection to the plants and energies of the seasons — you’re warmly invited.

There’s a quiet kind of work that doesn’t
always get talked about.

The kind that happens in the pauses—
between the in and out breath.

In the moments where nothing dramatic is happening,
but something is shifting underneath.

These are the spaces we need more of,
but are so often taught to push through—
to ignore the stillness when we feel pressed for time.

And these are the spaces I create for others as well—
gently inviting them back into the body,
into awareness, into something steady.

If you’re feeling called to that kind of work,
you’re always welcome to join me. 💚
