Something special is coming 💛

We’re so excited to begin a soft launch of our handmade fidget quilts—thoughtfully created by our External Care Coordinator, Lynette.

Each quilt is designed to provide comfort, calm, and gentle engagement for individuals living with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or other cognitive or sensory needs. With a variety of textures, colors, and interactive elements, they offer a soothing, familiar way to keep hands busy, ease anxiety, and create moments of connection.

It was a truly special day filled with smiles, laughter, and meaningful moments. Residents had the opportunity to dress up, feel celebrated, and capture beautiful photos to share with their loved ones. Experiences like these are a powerful reminder of the importance of creating moments that inspire joy, confidence, and connection.

Throwback to a special visit with our wonderful client Kathryn at Friends House 💛

Recently, Ani and Ariana had the pleasure of spending time with Kathryn while exploring the community’s on-site thrift shop—such a fun and unique experience! The shop features four full rooms of treasures generously donated by residents and is primarily run by the residents themselves, who volunteer their time to keep it going.

While visits are usually reserved for those accompanied by a resident, the shop also opens its doors to the broader community during a few open houses each year.

We love getting a glimpse into moments like these. It’s a reminder that what we do goes beyond providing care—it’s about sharing meaningful experiences and staying connected to the communities that matter most to those we serve.

Since joining our team in 2018, Chantal has consistently demonstrated what it means to provide truly exceptional care. She goes above and beyond for every client, taking the time to understand what makes them happy—and then thoughtfully incorporating those moments of joy into their daily routines.

Her compassion, patience, and attention to detail create meaningful connections with her clients, making a lasting difference not only in their lives, but in the lives of their families as well. The trust and comfort she brings to those she cares for does not go unnoticed.
