Unpopular opinion: I hate flowers. ๐Ÿ˜…
Theyโ€™re expensive, donโ€™t even smell that great (unless weโ€™re talking lavender), and they die in 3 days. If youโ€™re going to spend money on me, Iโ€™d rather it be on something that lastsโ€ฆ or at least something I can actually use. (A plant? Yes. Chocolate? Always.)

So if youโ€™re a no-flowers kind of girl like meโ€ฆ this is your hint. ๐Ÿ˜‰

What Iโ€™d tell my younger self: one day youโ€™ll be so busy youโ€™ll barely sit downโ€ฆ and itโ€™ll be the life you prayed for.

So when sh*t hits the fan, you have to tell yourself: you donโ€™t have to do thisโ€ฆ you GET to.

You GET to care for patients. You GET to lead a team. You GET to be a mom, wife, coach, build the brand, the business, the dream. You GET to be busyโ€ฆ.because there was a time you most certainly werenโ€™t. You prayed for this life. ๐Ÿ™

So instead of using your time to compare yourself to others, focus your efforts on the goal. Use your downtime wisely. Donโ€™t let your mind take over.

And even now people say, โ€œYour life exhausts me.โ€ ๐Ÿ˜…

๐Ÿ˜‚ Turns out the most dangerous part of MHA isnโ€™t complications referred in. Its constant texts, phone ringing nonstop, three patients checking in at once, someone asking if they can squeeze in an NAD start.

Covered the front desk for 5 minutes and truly almost didnโ€™t survive.

From the second he was created, I knew he chose me to be his mom. We are bonded in a way I canโ€™t fully explain.
