We wanted to share with you a simple but often overlooked way you may be able to amplify your philanthropy. Many companies will match the donations their employees make to nonprofits like the Mental Health Association of Frederick County. That means your gift could go twice as far, without costing you a penny more.

Ask your company’s HR representative if they offer matching gifts. Now is the perfect time.

Child Care Choices works to ensure that children have developmentally appropriate learning environments and that early childhood educators have the resources and support they need to ensure each child’s success. We work with parents and educators when children display behavioral issues in preschool or child care and provide resources, events and workshops to educate and engage families, early childhood educators and children.

Our professional staff can help Early Childhood Educators and Child Care Providers with:
• Training and Professional Development
• Technical Assistance and Business Solutions
• Partnerships for Emotionally Resilient Kids (PERKS)
• LOCATE: Child Care promotion
• Growing Opportunities for Family Child Care (GOFCC)
• Resource Room and Library

As we step into a new beginning, let’s remember that healing isn’t linear, and it’s always okay to ask for help. Reaching out is an act of courage, and the first step toward caring for your mental health is never too small.

This year, let’s choose mindfulness, resilience, and moments of stillness that allow us to breathe, reflect, and grow one day at a time.

As the year comes to a close, we want to say THANK YOU for standing with the Mental Health Association of Frederick County. Your support and advocacy make a real difference in our community.

If you’re thinking about a year-end, tax-deductible gift, there’s still time! A donation before December 31 helps ensure that children, families, and neighbors can get the mental health support they need in the new year.

Because of your generous support, MHA was here for Latoya. Through therapy sessions, support from the Call Center, and the work of our Crisis Specialists at the Walk-In Crisis Care Center, she found the strength to keep going. At MHA, she found a culture of caring – a place full of people who are here for her at every step.

Today, you can be part of someone else’s story of hope and healing. Latoya is just ONE of the 57,000 people MHA helps navigate through challenges and uncertainty every year.

We’re proud of what you’ve helped us build over the last 60 years: a community where no one has to face challenges and uncertainty alone. Your generosity makes it possible for Latoya and so many others like her to take their brave first step toward healing and resilience. https://fcmha.org/donate/online/
