Just back from a League of Women Voters candidate forum for the US Congress sixth district. Ms Delaney was articulate and detailed about her plans for the issues related to the economy, immigration, reproductive rights, childcare, gun legislation, health care—especially for mental health concerns, and support for Ukraine and our NATO allies. Unfortunately there were some very loud and unruly people in green tee shirts there refusing to follow the rules against cheering, heckling, and applause. They drove the point home that the other side has very unpopular and poorly conceived positions, so they resort to “sound and fury signifying nothing”.
