Katie is truly the starting line of ClearView Communities. She manages every inquiry that comes our way with care, professionalism, and heart. Her work isn’t easy — juggling both admissions and utilization review requires constant coordination, quick thinking, and deep compassion — but she does it all with grace and dedication.

Thanks to her passion, more individuals and families find the support they need to begin their healing journey. Katie always puts our residents and their families first, ensuring they receive the right care and advocacy from day one.

🧺✨ 𝗖𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗼𝘅𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀! ✨🧺

We’re excited to share something new (and a little fun!) happening across ClearView Communities — coping boxes are being delivered to each of our residences! 💚

These customized grey baskets are filled with simple but powerful tools to help with grounding, calming, and self-care — things like fidgets, puzzle books, mint gum, cinnamon candies, herbal teas, sugar-free lollipops, and even shower steamers!

The idea is to make it easy for staff and residents to grab something soothing when extra support is needed. Whether it’s taking a moment to breathe with a calming scent or keeping hands busy with a fidget, these boxes are all about creating small moments of comfort and connection. 🌿

A huge thank-you to our team for always finding creative ways to support our community — one coping box at a time!

🥫💚 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 💚🥫

Our residents recently organized a Food Drive to support The Frederick Rescue Mission, and we’re thrilled to share that it was a huge success!

Boxes and bags were filled to the brim with donations—far more than we anticipated—and the Mission was so grateful to receive them. 🙌

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who contributed to this effort. We’re so thankful for our ongoing partnership with The Frederick Rescue Mission and for all the incredible work they do to serve our community.

Our residents were so proud to take part in giving back and supporting such a meaningful cause. 💫

Last week, leaders from 30 mental health programs came together for another inspiring ARTA meeting. For decades, ARTA has united program leaders to connect, learn, and remind one another that we are never alone in this work.

This year, we were thrilled to welcome two new programs to ARTA and look forward to the continued collaboration ahead. We also said a heartfelt goodbye to one of our long-standing members, who has been part of ARTA for 30 years, as he embarks on his next journey.

ARTA is truly special; there’s nothing else quite like it.

Our greenhouse was glowing with warmth, laughter, and creativity during this year’s Fall Harvest Party! 💚

Residents and staff came together to transform the space into a cozy, twinkling autumn retreat—complete with seasonal décor, a faux fire pit, and the sounds of live music filling the air.

Guests enjoyed:
🍪 Delicious fall desserts made by residents
🍎 A cozy mocktail station and warm apple cider
🎃 Pumpkin painting and carving activities
🎵 Live musical performances featuring residents and guest musicians
👻 A few spooky stories to set the mood

It was truly an evening filled with connection, creativity, and community—everything that makes ClearView Communities such a special place. These seasonal gatherings continue to be among our most beloved traditions, reminding us of the joy that comes from celebrating together.

What a perfect way to start the weekend! 🌿✨

Today we gathered for our Nature Walk at Brookside Gardens, where mental health professionals came together for grounding, reflection, and connection. The morning was filled with meaningful conversations, mindful moments, and the beauty of nature reminding us all to pause and breathe.

A huge thank you to Antoinette Vasseur, CNIP, THP, CPD for leading us through a thoughtful reflection on the change of seasons, and to Shannon Harris with Help in the Home, LLC and Skyland Trail for co-hosting this inspiring event.

It was especially meaningful that today is World Mental Health Day — a wonderful reminder of the importance of community, connection, and care for ourselves and one another. 💚

Join us on Wednesday, November 5th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Dublin Roasters Coffee in Frederick, MD!

This casual networking event, sponsored by ClearView Communities Residential Mental Health Treatment Program and A Mission for Michael, is a great opportunity for mental health professionals to connect, share ideas, and build community over a great cup of coffee.

It’s an open-house style event — pop in anytime during that window and stay for as long (or as short!) as your busy day allows.

The toiletry drive has officially wrapped up, and we are so grateful for the incredible effort that went into it! 💙

A huge thank you to Charlie Alt, a junior at Oakdale High School, for collecting and delivering bags full of toiletries to support our residents. Your dedication and generosity make such a meaningful difference.

We also want to recognize Sarah Alt, Charlie’s mom, for her support and partnership throughout this drive—it truly takes a community.

Because of you, our residents have the everyday essentials they need, and we are reminded once again of the power of kindness in action. 🙏
