From toddlers to teens experiencing growth spurts, milk (or fortified milk alternatives) can be an easy, nutritious addition to meals and snacks. Enjoy it with breakfast, alongside a snack, or blended into smoothies to help support healthy development at every age.

Evenflo has issued a voluntary recall for All4One car seats. Testing found potential for the adjustable recline mechanism to shift from one position to another in rear facing mode. If the recline position changes during a crash, a backseat rider sitting next to the rear facing car seat is at risk of injury if their fingers are inside the recline mechanism.

More information on why the current immunization schedule is the right one for our patients

With todayโ€™s announcement of changes made to the childhood vaccine schedule, we want to reassure our families that at The Pediatric Center, we continue to trust the science and the evidence behind the long-standing, recommended immunization schedule supported by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

Statement by AAP President Dr. Andrew Racine on todayโ€™s HHS announcement about the childhood immunization schedule:

โ€œTodayโ€™s announcement by federal health officials to arbitrarily stop recommending numerous routine childhood immunizations is dangerous and unnecessary. The longstanding, evidence-based approach that has guided the U.S. immunization review and recommendation process remains the best way to keep children healthy and protect against health complications and hospitalizations.

For decades, leading health experts, immunologists, and pediatricians have carefully reviewed new data and evidence as part of the immunization recommendation process, helping to keep newborns, infants, and children protected from diseases they could be exposed to in the United States as they develop and grow. Todayโ€™s decision, which was based on a brief review of other countriesโ€™ practices, upends this deliberate scientific process.
During this uncertain time, the AAP will continue to publish our own childhood vaccine recommendations.โ€
