Playing with your child helps their brain develop and sets them up for a healthy, resilient future. Make time for fun together every day!

Play is a vital part of a child’s life from the start. For babies and toddlers, playful interactions with adults help build strong brain connections, lay the groundwork for lifelong health, and foster resilience.

Is your child a picky eater? You’re definitely not alone-many kids go through phases where they only want a handful of foods or refuse to try anything new. The good news? In most cases, picky eating is a normal part of development.

Here are a few things to keep in mind:
✅ Keep offering a variety of healthy options-even if they don’t eat them right away.
✅ Avoid pressuring, bribing, or forcing your child to eat-this can make mealtime stressful.
✅ Model healthy eating habits-kids are more likely to try foods they see YOU enjoying!

Most picky eating improves over time, but if you’re worried about your child’s nutrition or growth, give us a call. We’re always here to help!

Each month, our team chooses an organization to support through our Jeans for a Cause fundraiser. Staff can donate $5 to participate-and every dollar goes toward making a difference.

This month we are proud to support Believe in Tomorrow Children's Foundation- an organization that provides respite housing services to critically ill children and their families.

It takes a village to raise a child - and to keep them healthy! 💚 The AAP explains how cocooning helps protect infants from serious illnesses in their most vulnerable months.

Infants are most susceptible to life-threatening infections from whooping cough and have very little immunity. By surrounding a baby with only immunized people, you cocoon the baby against serious infections.

💉 Curious about how vaccines are developed?

Before a vaccine ever reaches your child, it goes through years of careful research, testing, and review by scientists, doctors, and the FDA to make sure it’s safe and effective.

Dr. Chaitovitz breaks down the major companies involved in vaccine production, and you can learn more in the article linked below.

Sharing from the American Academy of Pediatrics.

"We know parents are confronted with a lot of information, some of which is inaccurate. Some individuals wrongly assert there is a link between vaccines and autism. Before the claim was discredited, researchers took it seriously, investigated it thoroughly, and found no link. This research, in many countries, involving thousands of individuals, has spanned multiple decades. Any effort to misrepresent sound, strong science poses a threat to the health of children and does a disservice to the autistic community."

More information including the research referenced above can be found here: https://www.aap.org/en/news-room/fact-checked/fact-checked-vaccines-safe-and-effect-no-link-to-autism/?fbclid=IwY2xjawM_rENleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETE5VkFEMnplTXF4MllsT0s1AR4CwxgTyO5OL02BWc8Ahy3SU3iddzdBttVfX-PRurUHrkRsIqqqwhxmAV6elg_aem_HS4nH1qNjggaYefkbCD9dw
