How will you spend 2026 — healthier or the same? 🤔

Did you know that prioritizing your health can also save you money?

In the U.S., nearly 1 out of every 5 dollars is spent on health care, and a significant portion goes toward managing preventable and chronic conditions like heart disease, diabetes, obesity, and stress-related illnesses.

Now imagine the savings if you could reduce or avoid:
Copays for frequent appointments
Prescription and over-the-counter medications
Lost time and income from missed work

Choosing healthier habits is an investment in your future and your finances.

Make your health a priority in 2026 and see what it gives back!

As the year comes to a close, your body may be feeling it too.

Between holiday gatherings, travel, disrupted routines, extra stress, and long days on your feet, it’s common to carry tension, stiffness, or fatigue into the final days of the year.

Instead of waiting for the new year to “start fresh,” this is a great time to:
Release built-up tension
Reset your nervous system
Support better sleep and energy
Prepare your body for a strong start in January
Taking care of your body now can help you enter the new year feeling clearer, lighter, and more aligned—not sore and depleted.

Finish the year by giving your body the support it deserves.

As daylight hours shorten during fall and winter, many people experience a drop in vitamin D, move their bodies less, and spend more time indoors. When you add in holiday stress and disrupted routines, it’s easy to see why so many people begin to feel low, fatigued, or “off” during this season.

Chiropractic care focuses on supporting the nervous system, which plays a key role in mood regulation, stress response, and overall well-being. Along with regular care, there are several natural, drug-free ways to help manage symptoms of SAD:
🌥️Vitamin D support to help offset reduced sunlight
🌥️Balanced nutrition — holiday treats are fun, but excess sugar can impact both gut and brain health
🌥️Stay hydrated — dehydration is common in colder months and can show up as fatigue or headaches that mimic depressive symptoms
🌥️Get natural light early in the day — sunrise alarms or morning light exposure can help reset hormones
🌥️Keep moving — exercise is a powerful mood booster; even a 15-minute walk can make a noticeable difference

Supporting your body and nervous system during the darker months can help you feel more balanced, energized, and resilient.

As you start planning winter activities and preparing for snowy weather, it’s important to stay mindful of the increased risk of injury during physically demanding tasks.

Winter sports like skating, skiing, and sledding can easily lead to muscle spasms, strains, or tears—especially if your body isn’t properly conditioned. Even everyday activities, such as shoveling snow with poor form, navigating snowbanks, slipping on ice or wet surfaces, or dressing inadequately for cold temperatures, can put added stress on your muscles and joints.

Outdoor winter activities can be especially challenging if you’re not used to consistent movement. Staying active daily—even with a simple workout—helps keep your body prepared. Before heading outside, be sure to warm up for 15–20 minutes to increase circulation, improve flexibility, and reduce your risk of injury.

A little preparation now can help you stay safe, active, and feeling your best all winter long.

🤕 Have headaches been showing up more often this holiday season?

The days between Christmas and New Year’s can be just as disruptive to routines as the days leading up to it. One of the most common reasons headaches pop up during the holidays, or even while traveling, is not drinking enough water and going too long between meals.

Between returning gifts, running errands, hosting visitors, squeezing in gatherings, and getting back into work mode, it’s easy to get off schedule. When that happens, meals are skipped, water intake drops, and we often reach for quick fixes like extra sugar or caffeine, which can make headaches worse.

💡 A simple tip to help prevent post-holiday headaches:
Keep healthy snacks like fruit or nuts and a bottle of water in your car or bag so you have something nourishing within reach anytime.

Small habits can make a big difference as you finish out the year feeling better.

Today is a day for slowing down, being present, and appreciating the gifts that truly matter.

In the midst of the celebrations, the meals, the travel, and the time with loved ones, we’re reminded that our bodies carry us through every moment. Chiropractic care supports the body in ways that often go unseen, yet deeply felt.

Here are just a few of the gifts chiropractic gives, not just at Christmas, but all year long:
✨ One well-aligned spine supporting overall health
✨ Two balanced hips improving posture and movement
✨ Three restored movement patterns reducing daily strain
✨ Four freely moving vertebrae supporting spinal mobility
✨ Five calmer stress responses through nervous system support
✨ Six areas of muscle tension relieved
✨ Seven joints moving with greater ease
✨ Eight fewer tension-related headaches
✨ Nine clearer nerve pathways supporting communication throughout the body
✨ Ten relaxed muscle groups improving comfort and flexibility
✨ Eleven patients moving with confidence and ease
✨ Twelve bodies supported in healing and resilience

Today, we celebrate health, connection, and the quiet work the body does for us every day.
May your day be filled with comfort, care, and well-being!

Did you know cinnamon is one of the healthiest spices on the planet?
There’s just one important detail most people don’t realize…

There are two types of cinnamon:
Ceylon cinnamon — known as “true” cinnamon
Cassia cinnamon — the more common (and cheaper) version found in most grocery stores

If you’re using cinnamon for its health benefits, choosing Ceylon cinnamon really matters.

Ceylon cinnamon is rich in cinnamaldehyde, the compound believed to drive many of cinnamon’s benefits. It has been shown to:
✨ Provide powerful antioxidants like polyphenols
✨ Help reduce inflammation
✨ Support heart health by improving cholesterol and blood pressure
✨ Improve insulin sensitivity and help balance blood sugar
✨ Offer natural antifungal and antibacterial properties

Easy ways to enjoy Ceylon cinnamon this Christmas:
✨ Stir it into hot cocoa, coffee, or tea
✨ Add a sprinkle to oatmeal or yogurt
✨ Use it in holiday baking like cookies, muffins, or breads
✨ Mix it into applesauce or baked apples
✨ Sprinkle it over roasted sweet potatoes or holiday breakfast dishes

This holiday season, a small switch can make a big difference. Just be sure you’re choosing Ceylon cinnamon to get the most benefit.

Are you planning a trip somewhere for the holidays?

When traveling by airplane, you can use these tips to help you and your body travel better:

Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate! Start doing this the day before you travel. It will help with reduced fatigue, headaches, and muscle stiffness

Limit alcohol before and during travel - it causes further inflammation and dehydration that leads to muscle pain, stiffness, fatigue, and headaches.

✈️Stand up and move around as often as possible.
✈️Sit or lean against a rolled-up blanket (a jacket or sweatshirt works well too!) to support the curve in your back when you sit in your seat.
✈️Use a neck pillow to support your head, especially if you plan on sleeping during the flight.
✈️Check all bags heavier than you can easily lift overhead.
✈️Cold air blowing from the overhead vents can cause your muscles to tighten – close them or point them away from you.
