Any December babies on the way? You might be wondering how you're going to handle the holidays plus a newborn and yeah, it's a lot to manage! Is it even possible to navigate the holiday season with an infant and enjoy it? You bet. Here are some tips –

✨ keep it simple and combine tasks where you can. For example, instead of holiday card and separate birth announcement, make it a combo.
✨ be open to non-traditional ways of celebrating. Swap out your real tree for an artificial one to make life a little easier or if you don't put up a tree this year, oh well! There's always next year.
✨ embrace the holiday spirit. Listen to carols, take silly Santa hat photos, take a drive to look at the lights!

The only thing that should be in baby's crib other than a firm, well-fitting mattress and snug crib sheet is...nothing! Save the cute blankets and stuffies for tummy time; nothing soft and squishy should be in baby's bed before their first birthday.

From NIH: Research links crib bumpers and bedding other than a fitted sheet covering the baby’s mattress to serious injuries and deaths from SIDS, suffocation, entrapment, and strangulation.
