🚨 MCA Launches Statewide Anti-Child Trafficking Billboard Campaign

From April to September, Maryland Children’s Alliance is leading a billboard campaign across Maryland to raise awareness about child trafficking and the importance of community vigilance.

📍 Billboards are placed in high-visibility areas across the state, including:
Cumberland • Westminster • Baltimore • Bay Bridge • Easton • Berlin

📊 The campaign is estimated to generate 18.4 million impressions, reaching Marylanders where they live, work, and travel.

Our goal: To help communities recognize the signs of trafficking and protect vulnerable children—because awareness saves lives.

Please help spread the word that Platoon 22 is in need of a new location.

🚨 Important Update from Platoon 22 🚨

We recently received notice from Goodwill ending our services agreement and current lease at the Veteran Services Center (VSC). As of October 1, Goodwill will assume the public-facing veteran services role at the VSC.
What we anticipated to be a 20-year partnership has unexpectedly ended. We’ve been offered a small space to remain in the VSC, but it’s not conducive to the programs and services our veterans deserve.

We want our community to know:
✅ We are carefully weighing every option to minimize disruption.
✅ We are committed to keeping services available for the veterans who depend on us.
✅ We will share updates as soon as we have them.

This change is as shocking and hurtful to us as it may be to you, but our mission remains unchanged. Veterans come first. And no Veteran will be left behind.
