Myofunctional therapy focuses on correcting the function of the muscles you use to breathe, chew, swallow, and speak. It involves simple, targeted exercises that retrain how these muscles work together. 👅

Kimberly Zisman, RD, LDN – I graduated from Indiana University of PA with my bachelors of science in Food and Nutrition. My passion for pediatric nutrition grew with my start in the Maryland WIC program. I then spent the last 8 years at Frederick Health hospital where I specialized in NICU and neonatal nutrition, perinatal nutrition, as well as adult medical nutrition therapy. I’m deeply passionate about infant and child development and the joys (and struggles) of nourishing kids for optimal growth while fostering a positive relationship with food. I’ve lived in the Frederick area for the last 12 years. I’m a proud Swiftie and when I’m not listening to Taylor Swift or catching up on my long list of Real Housewives shows, you can probably find me playing with my dog or going on a long walk listening to my favorite podcasts around Downtown Frederick. It’ll be an honor to work with you and help your little ones.

Jaime Blanchard LPN, IBCLC- I am an International board certified lactation consultant. I have been a pediatric licensed practical nurse since 2017 gaining vital experience with this population. I have also worked in the hospital setting on the NICU, Postpartum and Labor and delivery units.
In 2021, during the pandemic I chose to further my education and become an IBCLC to better support and educate new and veteran parents trying to navigate parenthood. I also work with mothers during the prenatal period to prepare for the upcoming arrival of their baby.
The care I provide is patient centered focusing on your goals and objectives. We will work together to address milk supply issues, ni**le discomforts, pumping, positioning, weight concerns and feeding routines. I have also supported several families working through the challenges surrounding a lip or tongue tie and how they can impact feedings or cause ni**le discomfort.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending as much time as I can with my 13 year old son playing sports and being outside. You can usually find me cheering on the sidelines of a lacrosse game.
I’d love to meet and see how I might help support you and your family through your feeding journey.
