Celebrating nurses whose impact goes beyond the bedside. 💙

Every patient’s needs are different, and it takes many types of nurses working together to support them, from direct care to coordination, education, and leadership.

These nurses use their clinical knowledge and experience in meaningful ways, guiding patients, improving how care is delivered, and helping everything work together in a way patients can feel.

We’re grateful for the nurses who make that possible for our patients every day.

A story worth telling 💙

First-time Mom Courtney Flower faced unexpected challenges when her twins came 10 weeks earlier than planned. Through the uncertainty, she found strength in the compassionate care of our Frederick Health NICU. Our team of expert Johns Hopkins Neonatologists and incredible nurses helped her navigate the journey to bringing them home, safe and healthy.

Read her inspiring story in PEOPLE Magazine. 💫

About five weeks after she first began experiencing pregnancy pain, Courtney Flower called her doctor, who advised her to come into the hospital just to be safe. She quickly learned that she wasn't overreacting at all: her twin boys couldn't wait.
