Don’t let these folks fool you, their eyesight is just fine when it comes to shooting us. Today couldn’t have been a better end to summer - water, friends, music, sunshine, sno-cones and shenanigans. And yes, we know how lucky we are to have the best jobs! 💜

We’re attempting to summon Fall by making caramel apple pudding cups. As usual, the ladies have no time for my silliness and are all business. We enjoyed our snacks this afternoon during a virtual vacation to California. Hopefully all that sunshine didn’t cancel out our fall efforts!

Happy Wednesday! We wear purple every Wednesday for Alzheimer's Awareness. Since several family members have asked about our purple tee shirts, we have decided to sell them as part of our Walk to End Alzheimer's fundraising efforts. They are now available!

Art this week was a real hole in one! We absolutely teed up for success! Okay, that’s all the golf I know. We used golf balls to create some pretty amazing art and had so much fun doing it This might be my favorite art activity we’ve done! See y’all Friday for our end of summer party ☀️🎉🔫

Today, we honor the incredible life and legacy of World War II veteran Fred K. Buscher—proud U.S. Army veteran, lifelong educator, accomplished horticulturist, and devoted father and grandfather.

There have been a lot of fantastic events in our community, but Fred Buscher Day may have topped them all. What an amazing turnout from friends, family, the community, and the nearly 300 people who sent cards and gifts to our friend, Fred. I never fail to be amazed by the kindness of strangers. Happy 100th Birthday, Fred!

It was a packed house, and for the first time ever, I didn’t order too much food!

Fred received letters of commendation from the Governors of Ohio and Virginia, as well as gifts from his Alma Mater and former employer, Ohio State University.

We made a delicious Cherry Delight treat, partied with Beth, danced with Anthony, had a Friendship Day potluck, and a Friendship Social where we made handmade cards for friends, family, and Fred 💜

What a fantastic week! Lucky for us, we get to do it all again next week 💕

We have had so much fun the past few days that we forgot to post pictures. We had a blast during Music in Motion. We made oatmeal bars which were delicious, if we do say so ourselves. 😁 Today was all about chocolate and our friend Hokie Joe came to see us.
