Our residents gathered for a special event of Squirrel Appreciation Day! We had a short session on the different species of squirrels found nearby, and a Q&A where residents asked about how to attract squirrels to safe habitats. By the end of the discussion, everyone left with new knowledge and a greater appreciation for the creatures who scamper through their backyard.

Our residents gathered to learn about penguins through a small slideshow and simple facts. Then, they made penguin crafts and worked on penguin activities. We chatted about penguin species, and which waddles the funniest. The activity ended with cuddles with a plush penguin!

Our residents and Life Enrichment staff gathered for a light-hearted movie afternoon, watching a classic Popeye film. Laughter filled the room as Popeye's antics delighted everyone, while plates of Popeyes fried chicken added savory cheer on Popeye Day!

The Falls Run Life Enrichment Team truly went above and beyond by visiting a resident who was recently admitted to the hospital, bringing bingo cards and small prizes to keep spirits high! Church volunteers also joined in during the visit, adding warmth and community support to the effort.

The resident's family was beyond thrilled and deeply grateful for such a wonderful group of staff giving their personal time to brighten a difficult transition. The family pointed out that Falls Run is top notch in resident care, thanks to the dedication and kindness of the team!

Our residents gathered to celebrate World Snow Day, shaping cheerful snowmen using a versatile white foam putty that can be molded, reused, and reshaped again and again. Small groups formed round bellies, carrot noses, and coal black button eyes, each snowman wearing different hats and scarves.

Colin and Finn, the Collie therapy duo, trotted into Falls Run this weekend with wagging tails and warm, friendly eyes. Residents brightened at the sight of their fluffy coats. Colin nuzzled up for a pat, while Finn offered a comforting, steady gaze that seemed to say, "We're here to listen." Their presence left everyone feeling a little lighter and more connected.

Our residents and staff had a fun and exciting time on Appreciate a Dragon Day, their spirits bright with playful mischief. Residents roared with goofy, friendly barks that sounded more like kazoos than actual roars. It was a merry blur of imagination, community, and joy, a perfect tribute to the magic of dragons, no harm, all heart, and just a touch of whimsy.
