🎉Another Fun After 5 in the Books!🎉

We had a great evening at Whatley Wines and Melissa’s Farmstead, with tastings, delectable charcuterie, good music and, of course, vineyard tours!

We were joined by Methodist Hospital Hill Country, Frost Bank and Kott Valley Farms exhibiting their businesses and community impact.

Fun After 5 is TONIGHT at Whatley Wines — and you don’t want to miss it! 🍷✨

Just a short drive from downtown at 4046 US N Highway 87, this beautifully renovated former DAV Hall is now home to one of Fredericksburg’s newest wine tasting rooms. If you haven’t checked it out yet, tonight’s the perfect excuse!

While you’re there, take a tour of Melissa’s Farmstead, a stunning mid-1800s homestead that’s been thoughtfully restored and now serves as a charming vacation rental.

We’re also excited to welcome Frost Bank, Methodist Hospital Hill Country and Kott Valley Farms as exhibitors during the event. Plus, our newest Chamber members will have a chance to share more about their businesses.

Today we had the privilege of attending the groundbreaking of the new public-access racquet center designed to bring the community together through tennis and pickleball. The facility will offer lessons, leagues, clinics, camps, and tournaments for players of all ages and skill levels 🏓

With affordable memberships and daily court fees, the center is committed to staying accessible to everyone across the region. Free monthly junior clinics will help remove barriers, inspire young athletes, and grow a lifelong love for the game 💚

Even better—proceeds from tournaments and events will support junior player scholarships and continue strengthening racquet sports in the community.

Exciting things are on the horizon! 🌟
