TBP was so sad we weren't able to attend in person to receive the proclamation, however it is being mailed to us to proudly put on display in the clinic! We're so happy to operate in a county that can support our community and TBP's outreach!
On Tuesday, the board of supervisors recognized April as Autism Awareness Month.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a complex neurodevelopmental condition. The CDC estimates approximately 1 in 36 children in the United States are diagnosed with ASD.
Increasing public awareness and understanding of autism is crucial for fostering inclusive and supportive environments where individuals with autism can thrive and reach their full potential.
Residents are encouraged to participate in activities and initiatives that promote autism awareness, understanding, acceptance, and inclusion throughout the month of April and beyond.
