During larger groups, we transform our kitchen area into a calming space. What is a calming space? It's a safe space where children can manage strong emotions or take a break. It's not a punishment, but a place to practice healthy coping mechanisms. It offers calming activities like sensory tools, visual stimulation, and quiet activities. Areas can be customized based on children's preferences and needs. Occupational therapists often recommend these in homes or classrooms.

We’re so excited to have Ms. Haylee join our team and community! With over 6 years of experience as an occupational therapy assistant, much of it focused on in-home therapy for pediatric clients from birth to 21, she brings incredible expertise. Haylee will be leading groups like the Infant & Toddler Play Group, the Playschool Group for Preschoolers, and the Homeschooler's Club. She’ll also provide occupational therapy services to support our members.
