Hope is a confident expectation of GOOD to come.

There are things that we face in this life that are just too big; that overwhelm us or derail our journey, and it is in those times that we pray God could join us for a season to journey together and work towards healing brokenness, towards recovery, towards finding hope again in each new day

Remembering 9/11. 24 years ago. A moment, a day in time, that changed so many, including me, forever. I remember sitting in my family room in Atlanta, on the phone with my best friend, Sharla, as the 2nd tower collapsed in front of us on the television. This feeling of absolute devastation came over us, and we prayed right then and there. Six weeks later, we traveled to New York City, and witnessed the ashes still smoking, funeral processions on the street, so heartbreaking and yet, God.

Beauty from Ashes is what He had already done in my own life, would He do the same from this? My answer is yes. The people there were, in the middle of their pain, working to help each other, to care for each other, to begin again. Hope was alive there. There is still hope today, there is always hope and the hope we have in Christ will not disappoint. Remembering today, Susie💙

Good morning. We are reaching out to remind you that the Journey to Hope offices will be closed this week. It’s spring break for Stafford and Spotsylvania counties and we are going to be taking that time off as well. The office will be closed from Friday, March 21 through Monday, March 31. I am planning a birthday trip to the beach and I’m also going to travel by my father‘s graveside in Alabama on the way there. I would appreciate your prayers for traveling safety as we head to Florida.

Lyndsay and I will check email and text messages and voicemails in the morning and evening on vacation. If you should need to reach us while we’re away please know that we will try to respond within 24 hours. Please try to hold your admin questions until we return. 723 Thank you. You will remain in our prayers as well. Blessings, . Susie.🩵🏖️🏝️

It was a Monday. January 31, 2011. The very first official day of Journey to Hope. It was equally scary and exciting to step out in faith in this new beginning. And now, 14 years later, it is still our message that God is bigger than our dreams and He is bigger than anything we face in this world. That equals
5,114 days, 730 weeks and 4 days, 122,736 hours,
7,364,160 minutes, 441,849,600 seconds. He has proven himself so very faithful.

Thankful for every single person who has believed in us, supported us, sent people our way, been part of our team, and for every client who has journeyed with us and is journeying with us now, always, always toward hope. Blessings, Susie
