🧠 The Long-Term Effects of Alcohol Use Are Serious

Prolonged, heavy alcohol use can lead to lasting damage — one of the most dangerous conditions is called “Wet Brain Syndrome,” a form of brain damage that carries a 20% fatality rate if left untreated.

Early signs can be reversed with intervention and support, but if alcohol use continues, the effects may become permanent.

Symptoms can include:
🔹 Memory loss
🔹 Confusion
🔹 Clumsiness
🔹 Involuntary eye movements
🔹 Fabricating details without realizing it
