We brought back chore visuals in our home —
Not just to get things done,
but to build responsibility,
create a sense of belonging,
and make more space for what matters most: time together.

I love using visuals, they help kids see what’s expected and feel accomplished when they complete it!

We had a system before… drifted from it…
and recently reignited it — and wow, the difference.
Tonight we had an extra hour as a family:
✔️ Mom & Dad stretched
✔️ The girls played tag
✔️ We squeezed in pre-bed gymnastics

Less stress.
More connection.
And a peaceful, joy-filled end to the day.

These kinds of visuals can be useful whether it’s for a morning routine, chores, helping guide a therapy session, or for homeschooling! I’ve made many different kinds visuals & have always found them useful ☺️

Love that these early language skills support sensory processing and motor development too! ✨💗

Progress isn’t always a linear.
It can look like zig-zags, pauses, leaps, and loops —
but it’s still progress. 💪

This sweet kiddo is proof of that.
We’ve been working on handwriting using a multimodal approach — tapping into movement, visuals, tactile input, and meaningful repetition.
And while there were days it felt slow or even still…
today, we see the fruit of steady effort.

🖍️ Smoother lines
✋ Better grip
🧠 Stronger recall
❤️ And way more confidence

In therapy and in life — keep showing up.
Your child is growing, even if the progress isn’t loud or linear.
God’s timing and grace are in every little gain.

I saved this little onesie 6.5 years ago.
It was a gift when I was pregnant with our 1st daughter, back when we didn’t know her gender.
We’ve always passed on baby clothes,
But something told me to tuck this one away — just in case.

I didn’t need a boy. I didn’t really long for one.
But my husband did.
And every time I came across this tiny outfit, I felt like it was going to happen one day.

Sometimes it’s hard to know if it’s God’s voice or your own heart’s hope.
But here is this little boy — his namesake “God has heard”- because we sure did pray for him.

Parenthood is such sacred ground.
So much of it is learning to trust —
that whisper, that nudge, that feeling.
When something doesn’t sit right, trust that.
When peace washes over you unexpectedly, rest in it.
God is near in the waiting, and so faithful in the unfolding. 💛

Parenting isn’t about perfection—it’s about reflection and learning. Some days, you might feel like you were too hard on them or that you didn’t handle something the way you wished you had, but it will be okay! Every moment is a chance to grow, to adjust, and to meet your child where they are. The effort you put in—day in and day out—shows the love and dedication you have for them. Give yourself grace. You are doing better than you think. 💛

Life has been full, beautiful, and BUSY—so I’ve been away… but here’s a little update! 💜💗

✨ We’re thrilled to share that baby #4 is on the way! 🍼💫
✨ Still working my private practice on a much smaller scale than I expected… and that’s okay! It’s what we needed in this season.
✨ Stepped into the virtual world of OT… as a mama of 4 it’s been a great fit … and I’ve been learning a lot!!
✨ Homeschooling is still a big part of our journey, and we’re embracing all the learning moments.
✨ Staying active, soaking in family time, and preparing for this next season of life.

Through it all, I’m learning to find joy in the little things, let go of what no longer serves me, and embrace change with open arms. Life is constantly evolving, and I’m grateful for every messy, beautiful, unpredictable part of it. Have things been a little tough lately? Absolutely. But remembering how BLESSED we are through it all. 🙏🏼
