This weekend was a first for us: two events, two teams, two different locations, all at the same time. I'll be honest, I wasn't sure how it would feel to not be able to be at both places at once. But watching it come together? That answered a lot of questions about what we've built here.

Twelve years ago this was just an idea. Now it's this: a team of people I trust completely, doing incredible work without me looking over their shoulder. That's everything.

So thank you. Genuinely. To every one of you who gave up your weekend, slept in a tent, and spent your days taking care of strangers so they could have the time of their lives. You're why this works.

So proud of this crew. 🐻❤️

STAFFING CALL!

We are looking for 1-2 more providers for the S.H.A.R.E. Family Reunion, May 15-17 in Greencastle, PA.

SHARE is a tight-knit, multi-generational community event run by a Pennsylvania environmental nonprofit. Think campfires, kids, and a crowd that genuinely looks out for each other. It's one of the most rewarding events we work all year.

* Paid position (rate depending on cert)

CALLING ALL LIFEGUARDS: We have a client interested in hiring a lifeguard for an event in September. If interested let me know and I will pass along your info. (This is another direct-hire with the client, not a Bear Care gig).

Staff positions are available for DOMEFEST on the medical team! Let me know if interested. PAID POSITIONS, $15-20/hr depending on cert level. This will be a direct-hire through the festival, not a Bear Care event.

RICHMOND peeps: River City Roller Derby is looking for a couple of EMTs to volunteer for their big tournament the weekend of October 25-27. It's a great way to see some fun action and meet cool people. Please contact them directly through their FB page, or DM Kristy Pavlica if you're interested.
