Service Rescheduled Notice:
Due to inclement weather, after prayerful consideration for everyone’s safety, the services for Dr. Gladys B. West have been rescheduled.
A viewing will now be held at Shiloh Baptist Church (New Site), 525 Princess Anne Street, Fredericksburg, VA, 22401, on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, with a Memorial Service beginning at 5:45 PM. The Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc., Xi Upsilon Omega Chapter, Ivy Beyond the Wall service will be held at the beginning of the Memorial Service.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Rocky Branch Baptist Church, 6009 Rocky Branch Rd, Sutherland, VA 23885. The service will begin at 12:00 PM, with a viewing one hour before the service. A repast will follow the service, and the interment will follow at Dinwiddie Memorial Park, 7324 Church Rd, Petersburg, VA 23803.
