For over 30 years, the 340B Program has provided critical resources that enable Community Health Centers, like your local CHC, Centerville Clinics Inc., to deliver affordable and accessible healthcare to the most underserved and vulnerable communities. The 340B Program allows health centers to purchase outpatient medications at lower prices. Health centers reinvest the savings into activities that further their mission of improving patients' lives, as required by health center grants. This contribution to our operating margin enables our health center to meet the unique needs of our communities served, like dental care, behavioral health, food banks, and co-pay assistance programs.

Centerville Clinics, as well as other CHCs, use 340B drug discounts to provide uninsured and underinsured patients access to affordable medicines for chronic conditions such as diabetes and asthma. We ask Congress to take action and reform the 340B Program to ensure we can continue to serve our nation's most vulnerable patients.

Ambiguities in the 340B statute have restricted patients' access to discounted medications and allows Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) to benefit from the program at the expense of the health care safety net. We urge Congress to amend the 340B statute to protect access for the true safety-net providers!

Centerville Clinics Inc. has been serving you since 1955 when Joseph A. "Jock" Yablonski led a group of coal miners who wanted to bring quality medical care to the small communities in Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Our founders were well ahead of their time, as they strived to help the people in their surrounding rural communities. They wanted to serve the ENTIRE community, not just the coal miners, and they wanted to provide medical care regardless of their ability to pay.

From its first days, Centerville Clinics Inc., your local Community Health Center, has looked for ways to meet the healthcare needs of their neighbors.

We have grown and flourished over the 70 years, and, today we are not only honoring our legacy to the coal miners, but we are providing total healthcare to the ENTIRE community, which includes a nationally recognized Black Lung Program, with 13 medical, 5 dental, and, 10 behavioral health sites throughout Washington, Fayette, and Greene Counties.
