Last night, our Caring Hands administrative and nursing staff enjoyed an unforgettable evening at the St. Louis Cardinals game — and what a night it was! The Cardinals clinched a win against the Colorado Rockies, and the energy in the stadium was electric!

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us for the Caring Hands Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and our very first Red Cross Blood Drive. Your presence and support mean the world to us! It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces and share this special moment with you all.

FINALLY!! HELP THAT YOU NEED IS HERE
Asking for help doesn’t mean losing your independence; it’s quite the opposite. Getting a little help with daily activities means you can stay independent in your own home for longer. In fact, a little support can lead to a much better life.
Help at home looks different for different people. It may mean getting help with shopping and cooking. Or it could be receiving personal care to bathe, dress, and get in and out of bed. It may even mean getting modifications to improve your safety and movement around the house.
Consumer Directed Services is a state-funded program that allows individuals to choose their care attendants. If you have someone you already know, love and trust that can get paid to support you. (Family member, friend, child, relative, church member, etc.) To be eligible for CDS services you must have Missouri Medicaid/MO HealthNet and meet a certain Level of Care. Caring Hands provides services to over 20 Southeast Missouri Counties. Call us to speak with one of our CDS Coordinators to determine and verify your eligibility.
