Freeburg Care Center is looking to hire a Restorative Aide. This position would be full-time. The shift would be Monday-Friday and every fourth weekend. This position would require you to have a valid CNA or COTA certification.

We offer comprehensive health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, short term disability, 401K, and vacation, sick, and birthday pay. A waiting period does apply for benefits.

Freeburg Care Center is hiring for 2 full-time cooks. The shift would be either 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Every other weekend and some holidays are required. The pay is $16.00/hour, with annual pay raises based on satisfactory job performance. We offer health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, short-term disability, life insurance, 401K, sick and vacation pay for full-time employees. Today was one of our favorite days of the year..our resident Christmas party! It was alao one of our favorite groups' last performance, The Nit Pickers. They have always been a fan favorite and today was a wrap for them. Our annual resident Christmas party did not disappoint! So much fun, laughter, and love in one room❤️ Everyone especially loved our special guest stars Santa and the Grinch! Our dietary department knocked it out of the park with many delicious appetizers, desserts and drinks. A huge thank you to all the families that support us and came for their loves ones!

The 6-8th grade chorus came to sing for our residents today. They performed their Christmas program music and even sang Happy Birthday to Tammy!! All the residents loved it❤️

We had a very busy week starting with our resident Sandy Merz reading Twas The Night Before Christmas to the 4th grade class on Wednesday. That night we went and took some residents to The Shrine to see the lights. Then Friday, we had Sandy go back to the grade school and read the story to the 3rd grade class. Then we had the 4th and 5th grade chorus come sing their Christmas program songs to us. We finished off the week with Katambwa Storyteller telling us Christmas jokes and stories.
