Freeburg Care Center is looking to hire a part-time Receptionist to join our front office staff. The Receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate staff, answering the front door, and providing additional clerical support, as needed.
This position is part-time Monday through Friday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. The candidate must be flexible and willing to work extra hours during planned vacations and planned days off for the other front office staff employees. It will always consist of Monday through Friday, but will be expected to pick up more hours during those days when needed.
Responsibilities:
-Answer the door when visitors, vendors, and other guests come to the front door.
-Taking deliveries from the front door to the proper people.
-Checking the back hallway for deliveries from UPS, FedEx, etc. and making sure the packages go to the proper places.
-Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
-Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
-Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds (e.g. boxes of paper), and must be able to bend over for filing, picking up boxes, etc.
-Keep inventory of office supplies and make sure all supplies are always stocked. Once office supplies come in, unload them, and put them in the proper places. Keeping the front office copiers always stocked with paper.
-Helping at the front office window when needed. (e.g. when families are making a payment, write them a receipt, and make sure the payment goes directly to the Business Office Manager)
-Filing paperwork
-Scanning and uploading insurance cards into PCC
-Other Projects, as assigned by the Business Office Manager and Administrator.
Skills:
-Customer Service attitude
-Work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role, is required.
-Work experience in a long-term care facility is preferred.
-Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. computers, fax machines and printers).
-Solid written and verbal communication skills.
-Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
-Excellent organizational skills is a must.
-Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks is a must.

The pay rate for this position will be based off experience, ranging from $15.00-$16.00/hour. This position does not pay more than $16/hour.
