Attention to the details…

Whether your goal is whether it’s improving your health, restoring function, or just trying to become a walking pile of muscle tissue - the details fu***ng matter.

Challenge your thought process, try new exercises, go painfully slow, stop making s**t up and winging it, do something different than you have been for the past 3 years.

You don’t have to have a degree in muscle-ology or be a board certified therapist to just stop and pay attention to the details, they matter, and they add up quickly in both directions whether your doing things right or doing things wrong.

A lot of exercises may look and sound similar, but that
doesn’t mean the movements & the nuances of those
movements are the same.

Most people assume because they can do 225 in a squat, they can do 225 in a similarly patterned exercise - sadly, that’s just not true

Each exercise/movement/machine is built slightly differently, so those differences absolutely need to be accounted for

if you know anything about me, I’m all about training to or near failure, but if it looks like total dog s**t when you do it because you didn’t take the time to properly learn the movement and the ability control every centimeter of those reps, all that weight you think you’re doing, is probably just raining destruction on
your joints, tendons, and ligaments while simultaneously doing f**k all in your efforts to build an admirable physique

You’re going to be taking steps backward sometimes...

In many cases one step backwards opens the door to take many steps forward

These pics were taken a few weeks back but even still making tremendous progress well into his 5th month. A ton of respect for this man who has literally changed his mindset and perception of not only training but the compound effect of self realization na show to apply recovery principles over these past couple months. Got me feeling like a proud dad
