What a long, wonderful trip it’s been! It is with much pleasure, a little sadness, and a lot of gratitude that I announce that I am retiring from practicing podiatry. The past 35 years have been filled with treating so many patients, some only once and others for many years. Each of you have been important to me, it has been my honor to be trusted with your care.
While I have been planning my retirement for a few years, I was also creating a plan to continue your care right here in this office. I’ve built my practice on treating all my patients with respect while providing excellent care and of course, a little humor! The continuity of care for my patients has been an important factor in all my plans and I am pleased to announce that Dr. Jason Grossman and Dr. Paul Osemene will be taking over my practice, providing the same quality of care and standards to which you have become accustomed.
I have known Dr. Grossman for over 20 years and recently while discussing my plans to retire we realized that he and his associate Dr. Osemene would be a perfect replacement as both Drs. Grossman & Osemene and I share the same practice philosophy.
Dr. Grossman has practiced in the Old Bridge area for the past 20 years and currently he and Dr. Osemene have offices in Old Bridge and Sayreville. They truly care about people and strive each day to ensure their patients receive the best care. They will spend time talking to you as a person and will treat you like family.
Dr. Grossman is Board certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery and is competent in treating all areas of the foot and ankle. He completed a 3-year surgical residency at Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens, where he served as chief resident during his third year of training.
Dr. Osemene completed a three-year reconstructive foot and ankle surgical residency at DeKalb Medical Center in Decatur, GA and Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in Englewood, NJ, where he served as the chief resident during his last year of training. Dr. Osemene is a military veteran having served in the U.S. Navy for 5 years. He was a Combat Surgical Tech and Hospital Corpsman (Medic) during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
Knowing I am leaving your feet in good hands allows me to confidently move on to the next phase of my life. I will be working hard in this home stretch to make the transition as seamless as possible. I will be seeing patients until November 29th.
Thank you all for being my patient for so many years, I appreciate that you have entrusted me with your care. The ultimate compliment has been referrals of friends and family. I know that you will continue to receive excellent care, right here in Freehold. And don’t worry, the phone number isn’t changing!
Stay well,
John A. Brandeisky, D.P.M.
