Today, we held a birthday celebration to honor all residents with September birthdays. This month, we specifically recognized Arthur as our sole birthday celebrant. We express our sincere gratitude to Heart-to-Heart Hospice for their generous donation of delicious cupcakes for the event. Additionally, we were fortunate to have Chaplain Karen join us; she visited several residents individually and, after lunch, led a heartfelt worship service.

Our Sunday was filled with delightful activities such as bingo, seated workouts, tea socials, and a sense of togetherness. We are truly fortunate to experience such moments here at Stone Crest. The laughter and camaraderie that echoed through the halls were heartwarming, as everyone engaged in friendly competition and shared stories over cups of steaming tea. The sense of community was palpable, bringing us all closer together. As we look back on these cherished memories, we are reminded of the joy that comes from being part of such a vibrant and supportive environment. Thank you to everyone who participated in last week's engaging events during National Assisted Living Week. This week holds significant importance, as it celebrates the care we provide to our cherished residents and honors the residents themselves. This year's theme was "Ageless Adventure." The theme inspired us to explore new horizons and embrace the spirit of adventure, regardless of age. Our residents shared their incredible stories, proving that life is a thrilling journey at every stage. We hope these experiences brought happiness and a sense of community to all involved. Here's to continuing our adventure together, cherishing each moment and looking forward to many more memorable events.

We eagerly anticipate the upcoming week, which promises a variety of enjoyable activities. Our staple event, bingo, is scheduled multiple times throughout the week. On Sunday, we will offer manicures for both our ladies and gentlemen. Additionally, devotionals will take place during lunchtime each day. Wednesday will feature a trivia event, and we have organized several engaging physical games, such as ball darts, money ball, and wiggle workouts. Furthermore, a fun craft session with a fall theme is planned for Thursday. Our birthday celebration for September will take place this Thursday during lunch. Additionally, Chaplain Karn will be in attendance to visit. Stay tuned for more details!

We experienced significant success today at our Vegas-themed casino event, which was truly enjoyable. A heartfelt thank you to Cliff from Transitions Hospice for hosting the blackjack tables; your support this week has been invaluable. Our residents also participated in various activities, including slots, scratch-offs, roulette, and Euchre, hosted by Kendra. Today, we enjoyed a delightful cruise-themed event, featuring a variety of treats such as homemade fruit pizza, virgin piña coladas, snack cakes, and crackers. Certainly, we had to engage in cruise bingo while savoring our drinks. The sail-away spectacle was a resounding success! It has certainly been an eventful week thus far!

We had an exceptional time today at our ageless amusement-themed event. Residents enjoyed a delightful selection of cookies, lemonade, homemade elephant ears, and delicious cotton candy. We also engaged in fun fair games, such as duck matching and ring toss, where we awarded fall-themed prizes to our winners. A special thank you to Jenni from Heartland Hospice for her invaluable assistance in making this day truly wonderful.
