Angie Damin is co-owner of Jewell Insurance and Financial Services, specializing in Medicare planning. Today I spoke with a potential client who has some complex medical issues. He's struggling with what insurance will fit his needs best. In our conversation, I was able to narrow his options down to 2 good choices, based on his upcoming medical needs and the facilities he'd like to go to.

In the midst of our phone call, I realized he'd already had some knowledge of both of the plans I was suggesting. He admitted that he'd done some research before calling me (not a problem, of course). BUT, he said he's spent about 25 HOURS on the phone with various 800-number places.

I got to my 2 plan recommendations for him after about 10 minutes of listening.

Reviewing one of the cases I did over the phone earlier today...spoke with a woman who hadn’t reviewed her prescription plan in several years. Factoring in plan premium and Rx copays, we brought her from $4940 per year down to $741 per year.
