Our Mission: Family Enrichment Program promotes early development, learning and health of children by supporting and engaging their parents and caregivers. The Family Enrichment Program is designed to assist parents in their role as a child's first and most important teacher and to help promote a strong and healthy parent-child relationship. Our FREE program provides child development information and activity ideas brought to the home by a trained professional at the parents' convenience. We encourage families through: prenatal support, personal visits, group connections, screenings, newsletters, community resources, infant massage (by trained professionals), car seat safety checks (by certified technicians), and more! Learn about our Family Enrichment Program through the Regional Office of Education #8 Website: https://www.roe8.com/programs-services/prevention-initiative and check out our Prenatal-3 curriculum at www.parentsasteachers.org.

For today's Make-it-Monday, we have the balls in a bowl activity! This is the perfect activity for those aged 5 1/2- 8 months. All you need is a bowl and a few different types of balls. Encourage your child to grab the bowl and experiment with how the balls roll - this is great for their fine motor development. Ask questions and talk about what your child is doing during this activity - this will help them learn new language. Most importantly, have fun exploring with your child! πŸ₯°

Nature is the perfect playground for growing minds! For children ages 0–3, outdoor exploration helps build curiosity, confidence, and connection.

Even the tiniest adventures spark sensory development, language skills, and emotional regulation β€” all while having fun!

At the Family Enrichment Program, we encourage families to explore, connect, and grow! This is why we love hosting group connections for our enrolled families!

πŸ§ πŸ’– Safety & Routines = Emotional Well-Being πŸ’–πŸ§
Children thrive when they feel safe, seen, and secure β€” and routines help make that happen.

πŸ› Bedtime baths, 🍽️ family meals, and πŸ“š story time aren’t just daily tasks β€” they’re emotional anchors that build trust, reduce anxiety, and support healthy brain development.
βœ… Consistent routines
βœ… Safe environments
βœ… Predictable love

These small daily moments add up to BIG emotional growth. πŸ’ͺπŸ‘Ά

For today's Make-it-Monday, we have an activity for a child 14-24 months! You'll need any empty container and create a slot in the top, wide enough for your chips. Encourage and show your child how to put the chips in the can. This activity is perfect for hand-eye coordination and fine motor development. Next time you have an empty oatmeal container, give this a try!

Don't forget that YOU are your child's first and most important teacher! πŸ’š
