Why body scultlpting doesn't work to burn fat... from a Plastic Surgeon. (See video below)
I went to Esthetician school, thinking I could build clientele and in late 2020, I had time. I loved learning. What I learned most was nutrition not only feeding your body, but your skin and the internal/external factors your skin is exposed to make it healthy and harm and or age it.
I as a massage client, basic facials are at an additional cost of only $25 (I don't nessesarily take on Esthetic clients.) I am trained in cavitation (body sculpting) Radio Frequency, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, hydrodermabrasion, peels, eyelashes, brown lamination, high frequency facials, microneedling, lash lift and tints, as well as waxing and I am the only local Alexandria Professional sugarist in the area (sugaring is alot like waxing only a better choice for your skin than waxing), and I am sure I am missing a few other techniques. And this was just in the school I graduated from. But out of it all, like massage you have to treat the body as a whole and be consistent. You can't get a facial and expect results to last for a long time, with out you putting in the work. You need to regularly use the products your Esthetician recommends for you. Alot of people will just want to come in a get a facial to treat themselves, and don't much care for getting the products or using them. That's okay, it's just not how I work. Any passionate Esthetician will teach you how to care for your skin to keep it looking great for years to come. And if they are well educated they will teach you also the importance of gut health and habits to stop/start for healthy skin. And some might be for everyone, and some suggestions may be specific to your skin needs.
