Congratulations to Dylan Collier on receiving the Employee of the Month award for August!

Mr. Collier was nominated by Case Planner Tiny Bailey and Cottage Manager Anthony Snavely for his leadership style and the positive energy and passion he brings to work every day. His supportive attitude and consistent behavior serves as a role model for his peers and for the youth in his care. No matter the activity - playing basketball with residents, helping with day-to-day activities, or just being there for a youth - Mr. Collier leads by example and shows the young men in his program how they can also become adults and leaders.

Thank you, Dylan, for your dedication to the Agency and the youth we serve!

August is National Make a Will Month. Are you part of the 24% of Americans who have a will? Maybe you just haven't gotten around to it. Or you think you don't have enough assets to leave. Maybe you think it's just too expensive to create one. No matter the reasons you don’t have a will, there are some pretty good reasons to have one. It can reduce family stress, confusion and conflict as well as unnecessary probate expenses. It can make it more likely that your wishes will be honored (who’s going to get your coin collection or take care of your pet?). Did you know you can also support a favorite nonprofit charity (perhaps ) by naming it as a beneficiary? For more info on how to support our work by bequest please visit our website or contact our development officer. Your thoughtfulness could help ensure resources for youth development activities, campus amenities, or our wonderful animals like Tommy Hillpigger and Portia Woodpig on our Farm. As always we recommend you consult with your attorney or professional advisor when making such important decisions.

Mental health is just as important as physical health and essential for overall well-being at every stage of life. We all can help reduce stigma and promote the recovery of individuals who are experiencing mental health challenges at any age by choosing to be a part of their support system. Early intervention and support, especially for children, can make a difference. Each person's mental health journey is unique - a strong support system can help in the moment, as well as over time. Join us in strengthening support systems everywhere to bring about life-long wellness. Reach out to a professional if you or someone you know is struggling.
