The MISHA Knee System is an implantable shock absorber designed to relieve knee pain in patients with osteoarthritis. The device works like a car shock absorber, reducing the peak forces on your painful knee joint during activities such as walking, running, or simply standing. If you suffer from pain in the inner half of your knee, especially when active, you may benefit from the MISHA Knee System. Only a trained MISHA surgeon can evaluate your clinical history and determine if the MISHA Knee System is the right treatment for you.

Thank you to Dr. Bernard for producing this resource and for helping medial knee OA patients learn more about surgical offloading.

The MISHA Knee System was FDA cleared in 2023 after over a decade of empirical research and studies both in the EU and the US. It is indicated for patients with medial compartment knee osteoarthritis that have failed to find relief in surgical and/or non-surgical treatment modalities and are still experiencing pain that interferes with activities of daily living and are also unwilling to undergo or ineligible for total knee replacement due to age or absence of advanced osteoarthritis.

These are the views of Dr. Bernard, who is not a paid consultant of Moximed, Inc. See IFU and product label for a complete list of indications, contraindications, warnings and precautions, MRI and device information. www.moximed.com
