If you have been exposed to measles, think you may have been exposed, or are experiencing symptoms, please do not go directly to a clinic or hospital. Call ahead first so care can be arranged while protecting others from exposure.

Right now, we are seeing RSV, Flu and Covid. Many of these illnesses linger, especially cough and fatigue. That doesn’t always mean you’re getting worse, it often means your body is still healing.

What actually helps:
• Rest. Pushing through makes symptoms last longer.
• Hydration. Fluids help thin mucus and support recovery.
• Humidity. Humidifiers or steamy showers can ease coughing.
• Fever reducers if needed. Rest is part of healing.
• Balanced nutrition. Fuel your body, even if you’re not eating much.
• Stay home while sick. Protect others and give yourself time to heal.

What doesn’t help:
• Antibiotics for viral illness
• “Powering through”
• Going out sick because you are almost better”

The goal isn’t to tough it out. The goal is to recover fully and not spread illness.

Save this, you’ll likely need it this season. 😷
