Chinese Medicine and Yoga Meet: Urinary Bladder 36 and Uttanasana
Release into gravity and connect with UB-36, Hold & Support (Chengfu 承扶).
This point relaxes the sinews, clears stagnation, and eases back pain.
Uttanasana lengthens hamstrings, decompresses the spine, and calms the mind.
How to Do It: Stand with feet hip-width apart, exhale and fold forward from hips, letting the head hang, and place your hands on yoga blocks or the ground. Bend your legs if your back feels strained.
How to Locate the Point: In the middle of the gluteal crease, directly below the buttock where it meets the upper thigh. You can also do acupressure on this point by applying gentle but firm pressure to stimulate the energetic benefits.
