It’s a day of tremendous pride for our entire Washington Health team, having achieved Magnet Recognition for the fourth consecutive time. This remarkable accomplishment places us among an elite group of hospitals, fewer than 2% of hospitals nationwide have earned recognition four times in a row. Magnet designation is widely considered the gold standard for nursing excellence, an honor that must be re-earned every four years through rigorous application and review process. The Magnet journey requires participation from nurses, physicians, leaders, and multidisciplinary staff across the entire health system. It reflects the teamwork, collaboration, and unwavering dedication that defines Washington Health across every unit and every role. Today we celebrate another distinction and, more importantly, the extraordinary people who give their heart, talent, and ongoing commitment in service to our community.
