It’s a great time to step out into the community and learn about how we can all make our lives a little greener!

Coyote Hills Regional Park Restoration Project

Feel free to bring the whole family to spend the morning in a beautiful setting, helping the native plants by removing invasive species to help promote biodiversity, and enhance climate resilience. Some of the invasive species we will be removing are stink wart, thistle as shown above. We will be leading warm ups for the event at the Visitor Center!

Afterwards we will be heading over to
The Earth Day Fair!

With a wide selection of earth themed activities going on Fremonts created a great opportunity to learn and play!
There will be:
- Booths about Composting/Recycling, saving energy at home, eco friendly gardening practices & other local sustainability programs.
- Eco-tainment including games/activities art and food trucks!
- Collection booth for old medication, sealed condiments and utensils, eyeglasses and syringes/needles
- Confidential document shredding
- Mercury thermometer/toothbrush exchanges!
