Happy Earth Day 2026! 🌍

This year’s theme is "Our Power, Our Planet," which emphasizes community action, collective efforts, and the shift toward renewable energy to fight climate change.

It highlights that environmental progress is driven by people, communities, and innovative solutions, rather than solely depending on political administrations.

Here are some recent photos in my camera roll that remind me how beautiful our planet is. Let’s keep it thriving! 🌳

SAY CHEESE! 🧀

We had a fun night catching up, eating cheese (and other goodies), and LAUGHING! 😆

It’s always nice to relax and enjoy time together outside of the office! It’s wonderful working with this group!

Raise your hand 🙋🏻‍♀️ if this is how you feel after taxes!

If you’re like me, I always feel a weight over me until taxes are filed and paid.

Who needs some stress relief with a massage? Or an adjustment to feel human again? 💆🏻

We hear this all of the time, but are we doing it?!

It takes effort and habits to make your health a reality.

Don’t take shortcuts or make excuses.

Just do it! 💪🏼

Happy Monday!

I just returned from a weekend trip to Disneyland, and for the first time, I definitely felt my age. 😅

Those caution signs on the roller coasters are there for a reason. ⚠️

While still one of my favorites, The Matterhorn ride (first photo) was a lot more “jerky” than I remembered it to be. My daughter even called it “the chiropractor’s ride”. The side to side turns legitimately can cause neck muscle strain and/or low back injury - similar enough to a car impact. 😮

With that being said, please use your judgement when you are at amusement parks. 🎢 There are plenty of other wonderful rides, such a It’s a Small World, that are enjoyable and more gentle on the body! 🎡

I’ve definitely seen my share of people coming in to see me after a trip to the amusement park. 😅 Play safe and have fun! And remember, all of that walking is a great way to get your daily steps in!

As our world becomes increasingly more dependent on technology and efficiency, don’t forget that it’s the basic things that help us thrive.

Following this guideline helps us maintain good health habits through every stage of life.

Have you been to the Whalers Cabin Museum in Point Lobos State Nature Reserve?

This old whaling cabin built by Chinese fishermen in the 1850’s is now home to a real whale skeleton. 🐋

It’s fascinating to see how similar whales are to humans based on “homologous structures” - different appearances but same evolutionary origin.

Even though a whale doesn't have a thumb or individual fingers for grasping, the skeletal structure inside the flipper still maintains that five-digit layout inherited from their 4-legged land-dwelling ancestors and small, pelvic bones buried deep within their body that no longer connect to legs.

The spines have the most similarities: a backbone made of individual vertebrae that protect the spinal cord with the same number of cervical, thoracic, and lumbar levels. 🩻

Isn’t science cool?! 😎

SQUATTING

Squatting is one of the most underrated moves that we don’t do enough of - especially as we get older.

Do it while you watch TV, go to the bathroom, wait for the microwave, in the shower, etc.

Your balance, flexibility, and strength depend on it! 💪🏼
