It’s Oral Cancer Awareness Month!
Oral cancers can be readily treatable when found early, not so much when found late. That's why is a regular part of patient exams. is one of the tools we use. It works by using a safe blue light and fluorescence technology to show differences between normal and abnormal tissues in the mouth. Looking through a special lens, we can detect changes several cell layers deep that can’t be seen with the naked eye.
