Dona came to Nye Legacy to recover after a hip fracture—and through hard work, determination, and incredible support, she’s now headed home after graduating from her rehab stay! 🎉 We’re so proud of Dona and wish her all the best as she continues healing at home.

This journey is especially meaningful for our team, as Dona’s daughter, Roxanne, is one of our outstanding nurses at Nye. Seeing care, compassion, and recovery come full circle like this reminds us why we do what we do. We’re proud to be a place healthcare professionals trust to send their own loved ones to recover.

Last Friday, we celebrated the season with a wonderful Christmas party filled with joy and holiday cheer! The day included special visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus, fun games and gifts, delicious holiday treats, and plenty of yummy food shared among friends.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration so special—from our dedicated team to those who joined in the fun. Moments like these truly make the season bright.

If you’ve gone through rehab at Nye Legacy, there’s a good chance you remember these three incredible caregivers: Mary, Erin, and Hilary. This nursing team is known for their passion, compassion, and the kind and attentive care they provide to every resident working toward recovery.

They have been instrumental in countless rehab success stories, offering encouragement, expertise, and heartfelt support every step of the way.

Together, they bring an amazing depth of experience to our Rehab neighborhood:
⭐ Mary G. – 15.5 years as an RN at Legacy
⭐ Erin M. – 10.75 years as a CNA at Legacy
⭐ Hilary H. – 9.75 years as an RN at Legacy (plus additional years of nursing experience prior)

Tim came to Nye Legacy for rehabilitation and worked incredibly hard to reach his goals. Today, our team was proud to celebrate his “graduation” from short-term rehab as he heads to Nye Square to continue his therapy journey! 🎓

Tim and his family were deeply involved during his time at Nye Legacy, forming meaningful connections with fellow residents and our team. We are so proud of Tim and all the progress he’s made — and we can’t wait to cheer him on as he continues working toward his goals! 🎉

Congratulations to Katerin! We were thrilled to have her shadow our team at Nye Legacy, and we look forward to watching her bright future unfold!

We’re thrilled to recognize Katerin, a North Bend Central Public Schools student who recently earned 1st place 🏆 at the Middle School SkillsUSA State Championship with her Job Skills Demonstration in Recreational Therapy! 🧑‍⚕️💙

Katerin spent a day shadowing our Life Enrichment team at Nye Legacy, where she jumped right in—observing, participating, & experiencing firsthand the creativity, compassion, & connection our team brings to residents each day. The judges even highlighted how meaningful her job shadow experience with us was, noting that it helped her confidently answer their follow-up questions. ✅

This is a wonderful example of the impact our partnerships & hands-on learning opportunities can have on students as they explore future career paths in healthcare!
