Almost forgot to post these. I was sent some photos this afternoon of some Saturday activities. RCS Terri came and did a Bible study, and the residents played a game of dominos. Both well enjoyed I'm sure. Thank you Terri for giving your time for the residents today and thank you Katrina for the photos. ☺️

Friday fun. Music therapy with Melissa, and an afternoon with praise and worship, as well as a new game that was an old favorite for some, marbles.
And two ladies with a great friendship that will have coffee and chit chat, or a game of dominos. God is good! And we are so very blessed ❤️

Ringing in the new year with our own new year ball. Well, pinata lol. Ours was filled with candy and the residents really enjoyed swinging at it in hopes to break it open for the candy. Our RCS Cassie helped out by breaking it open for us. Also some sparkling juice and snacks as well as some new years eve trivia. Happy New Year everyone 🥳

I received this video from one of my coworkers but had forgotten to post it. So I apologize for the wait. Our housekeeper Adriana decorated a residents room for Christmas as she had wanted some festive decorations. It turned out very nice and she and her husband loved it. Adriana has a big heart and always goes above and beyond for our residents, taking time out of a busy day, bringing joy and smiles. She is a treasure and we are indeed blessed. ❤️

We had a wonderful Christmas party this afternoon for our residents. With music from the family of one of our residents, a delicious hot cocoa bar with all the fixings, brought by Stephanie from Hospice. Some tasty treats including festive cupcakes. Gifts for the residents and of course, Santa and his helper. A great time was had by everyone. We were so happy to see our good friend Sue return for the party, helping Nicole keep things running smoothly. Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated with us. To our volunteers, and for everyone who gave of their time to make this a special time for the residents, we thank you all. ❤️

The final day of Christmas spirit week: Ugly Sweater day. Also the day of the staff Christmas party. We enjoyed Spanky's pizza and bread sticks, donated by a wonderful family and we thank them for their generosity. We had tons of laughs with Christmas Jeopardy and even a little karaoke. We all had so much fun this afternoon.
