With all the weather changes and garden prep, baths have become a daily part of my self-care.

I love being able to look at my shelf and choose the right blend for my desired vibe. I rest comfortably knowing there's no harsh chemicals penetrating my skin barrier, even if I lay there for over an hour.

Just a reminder why buying from small business is better than corporations.... unlike other CEO's, I actually use my products regularly and care about how they effect the body 😉

I designed this Dandelion root + Calendula Soap for a family friend and they turned out just perfect 😍

The request was dandelion soap... so let me walk you through why I formulated this the way I did.

It all starts with herbs around here. Dandelion is a beautiful medicinal herb high in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. Every single part of the plant is edible and usable, but for this recipe I worked with dandelion root. Dandelion root offers a gorgeous earthy tone and aroma when infused into oil (a key component of soap making) however, most of it's beneficial properties are water soluble. This is why I paired it with Calendula - another powerhouse herb which actually loves letting it's best constituents extract into oil. Using a 1:3 dandelion to Calendula ratio, these herbs were slowly heated into an olive oil and sweet almond oil blend, and then rested for 3 weeks to maximize all potential extracted benefits.

Since dandelion roots constituents are heavily water soluble, I created a long infusion of dandelion root herbal tea for the lye solution in this recipe. To bring it all together, this bar has dandelion root powder and calendula petal powder woven throughout, providing an exfoliating texture while remaining smoothe and bubbly. On top - bright yellow & orange dried Calendula flowers.

It goes without saying I put a lot of love and research into every single ingredient I use in my recipes, and I do my very best due diligence to use organic ingredients if possible, all-natural as an alternative, but never ever harsh chemicals. That’s why I'm going to be so real with you - the saponification process burns away many of the great benefits you're looking for when infusing herbs into soap. That's why my process is slow, it takes diligent temperature monitoring, practice, and well... a s**t load of herbs. So, like... please support me! Like, comment, share ya know what they say. (:

Hi friends! 🌿

I've been busy creating and perfecting some new herb-infused body & skincare products this month.

Skin is the body's largest organ, and what we put on it matters just as much as what we put in it. Every oil, butter, mineral, and botanical I choose has a purpose — whether it’s calming inflammation, deeply moisturizing, gently exfoliating, or supporting tired joints and muscles.

This month’s creations include:

I’m really proud of how these turned out and so grateful to keep building this little herbal corner of the world.

Midnight Herb Charcoal Soap Bar - A smooth, clarifying cold-process soap made with oils infused in skin-loving herbs. These bars will cure for 6 weeks before they are ready!

Joint Calming Salve - $5/$15 - This salve is made with sesame oil and infused with antiarthritic, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory herbs that aim to soothe aches and pains in the joints. This recipe was originally formulated as a support for arthritis and has wonderful feedback ~ although the FDA will be sure to remind me that I cannot claim that this is for arthritis 😅😋

Skin Soothing Lotion Bars - $5 - Infused with herbs traditionally known to ease dry, itchy skin, these bars are perfect for hydrating the skin during the winter! I use this recipe when I am dealing with eczema flare ups and extra dry.

Hope everyone had a gentle holiday season 🤍
If you’re anything like me, the holidays can bring a lot, including: joy, connection, and extra stress. Between the chaos and everything that comes with hosting, my body finally waved the white flag, so today I’m leaning into rest and listening.

We woke up to snow this morning, I’m a little under the weather, and I’m reminding myself that slowing down is part of caring for the body — not a failure.

Today that looks like brewing a warm cup of herbal tea and letting plants do what they do best: support, soothe, and hold space. Right now I have a few blends on hand that I keep coming back to — calming florals, gentle herbs for stress, and cozy combinations meant for quiet winter days.
