This month's social was a hit! ☕✨Residents enjoyed an afternoon filled with good conversation and delicious refreshments, thanks to our wonderful Life Enrichment team. The menu featured radish & herb butter tea sandwiches, cheese, fresh cucumbers, green tea, and blueberry tea—making for a fun and flavorful gathering. Safe to say… if you missed it, you missed out. 😉

A sweet welcome for a sweet couple 💙

Delores moved to Nye Square before her husband, John, joined her from Nye Legacy. After attending one of our Tasty Tuesday events, Delores shared how much she’d love to bring John with her next time.

Thanks to our Life Enrichment team, we were able to make that happen—offering the happy couple a complimentary Tasty Tuesday as a special welcome! 🍽️✨

Despite the wind, some of our residents took to the Assisted Living courtyard last week to plant flowers in the raised flower beds! 🌸🌱Residents were happy to get their hands a little dirty, enjoy some fresh air, and plant something they can watch grow as the weather warms up. ☀️

Now comes the fun part—watching everything bloom! 💙

Last Monday, Marilyn and Virgil Braasch celebrated an incredible milestone—68 years of marriage! 💛 They were married on Mother’s Day in 1958, making this year’s celebration even more meaningful.

The team at Nye Square was honored to help make the day a little extra special for them with a heartfelt visit and celebration.

Congratulations to Marilyn Braasch and Virgil Braasch on 68 beautiful years together—what an inspiring example of love, commitment, and partnership.

It’s been a month for bird feeders at Nye Square! 🐦💙

Sara mentioned she hasn’t had much luck attracting finches in her own yard—but Minnie? She’s been having great success! So naturally, Sara teamed up with Minnie to get a finch feeder set up and ready for even more feathered visitors. 🌻

Now we wait and see how many finches decide to stop by! ☀️
