Toor Holistic:
How to Cultivate Mindfulness
Cultivating mindfulness involves developing the ability to be fully present and engaged in the present moment, without judgment or attachment to thoughts or emotions. Here are some steps to help you cultivate mindfulness:
Start with the breath: Begin by focusing on your breath. Notice the sensation of each inhale and exhale. You can place your hand on your abdomen to feel the rise and fall with each breath. If your mind wanders, gently bring your attention back to your breath.
Practice meditation: Set aside dedicated time each day for meditation. Find a quiet and comfortable space where you won't be disturbed. Start with just a few minutes and gradually increase the duration as you become more comfortable. There are many different types of meditation practices, such as focused attention meditation, loving-kindness meditation, and body scan meditation. Experiment to find what works best for you.
Engage in mindful activities: Bring mindfulness to everyday activities such as eating, walking, or washing dishes. Pay attention to the sensory experience of each activity—the taste, texture, and smell of food, the sensation of your feet touching the ground as you walk, the feeling of water and soap on your hands as you wash dishes.
Observe your thoughts and emotions: Notice when thoughts or emotions arise without getting caught up in them. Instead of reacting automatically, simply observe them with curiosity and non-judgment. Recognize that thoughts and emotions are transient and will pass on their own.
Practice gratitude: Cultivate an attitude of gratitude by regularly reflecting on the things you are thankful for in your life. This can help shift your focus away from negativity and towards appreciation for the present moment.
Stay present during daily tasks: Focus on one task at a time and give it your full attention. Avoid multitasking and resist the urge to rush through activities. By staying present, you can fully experience and appreciate each moment as it unfolds.
By implementing above methods , you can easily cultivate mindfulness in our daily life and can enjoy healthy & happy life.

Emotional Well-being and healthy living:
Emotional well-being refers to the state of being mentally and emotionally stable, resilient, and satisfied with one's life. It involves understanding, managing, and expressing emotions in a healthy and productive manner. Here are some key components of emotional well-being:
Self-awareness: Understanding your own emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. This includes recognizing your strengths, weaknesses, and triggers for negative emotions.
Self-regulation: The ability to manage and regulate your emotions effectively. This involves techniques such as mindfulness, deep breathing, and cognitive reframing to cope with stress and control impulsive reactions.
Emotional resilience: The capacity to bounce back from setbacks, adapt to change, and cope with adversity. Resilient individuals are better equipped to navigate life's challenges and maintain a sense of balance and perspective.
Positive relationships: Building and nurturing supportive relationships with family, friends, and community members. Healthy social connections provide emotional support, companionship, and a sense of belonging.
Purpose and meaning: Having a sense of purpose, direction, and meaning in life. This involves setting meaningful goals, pursuing activities that align with your values, and finding fulfillment in your accomplishments.
Gratitude and appreciation: Cultivating an attitude of gratitude and focusing on the positive aspects of life. Practicing gratitude has been linked to improved emotional well-being, greater resilience, and overall life satisfaction.
Work-life balance: Striking a balance between work, personal life, and leisure activities. Prioritizing self-care, relaxation, and leisure time is essential for maintaining emotional well-being and preventing burnout.
Physical health: Recognizing the connection between physical and emotional well-being. Engaging in regular exercise, eating a balanced diet, getting enough sleep, and avoiding harmful substances can all contribute to better emotional health.
Seeking support: Knowing when to reach out for help and support from trusted individuals, such as friends, family members, or mental health professionals. Seeking therapy or counseling can be beneficial for addressing underlying emotional issues and developing coping strategies.
Mindfulness and relaxation: Practicing mindfulness techniques, such as meditation, yoga, or deep breathing exercises, can help promote relaxation, reduce stress, and enhance emotional well-being.
Overall, emotional well-being involves a holistic approach that encompasses various aspects of life, including self-awareness, self-regulation, relationships, purpose, physical health, and coping strategies. By prioritizing these components and taking proactive steps to enhance emotional well-being, individuals can lead happier, more fulfilling lives.

Homeopathy works:
My story: When I met with Heart attack.
Homeopathy is a form of alternative medicine that stimulate a healing response and strengthen the body’s ability to heal itself. This holistic system of medicine is 200-year-old and based on the theory of treating ‘like with like’. It claims to stimulate the body’s own healing response to disease, using specially prepared, highly diluted preparations.Homeopathy treats the whole person, taking into account personality, lifestyle and hereditary factors, as well as the history of the disease. Since all people are unique, homeopathic medicines are prescribed to treat individuals.Heart attack (Myocardial Infarction) occurs generally when blood supply to the heart muscles severely reduced or stopped or when one of the arteries(coronary arteries )supplying blood to the heart muscle is blocked. If supply to the heart muscle is cut off for longer than several minutes, muscle cells in the affected area suffer irreversible injury and die. As the heart can’t reproduce heart muscle, damage from the heart attack is permanent. A heart attack result in disability or even death depending on how much and where the heart muscle is damaged.Overall 90% of heart attacks are caused by a blood clot in the coronary artery(coronary thrombosis or coronary occlusion)The formation of blood clot is often associated with atherosclerosis, the build up plaque. When the plaque ruptures, it can form a blood clot capable of blocking one of the coronary arteries.
Suddenly in the month of July after taking lunch, I sat on Sofa and started feeling vague chest discomfort and thought that I had heart burn or acidity. Within no time my symptoms got versed and I started feeling anxiety, shortness of breath, indigestion tightness and chest pain, overall weakness and nausea. I had vomiting and sweating all over body. Analyzing all my symptoms, I told my husband that I had heart attack and took immediately Homeopathy medicine Aconite 200 and lie down on the bed. After 5 minutes I again got feeling of nausea & vomiting, all the food which I had taken at lunch time was vomited out and again I got profuse sweating and felt even more weakness.
In the meantime my husband called 911.The ambulance came within 10 minutes. They checked my Blood Pressure, Pulse Rate and given me emergency treatment for heart attack and shifted me to the Washington hospital, Fremont where I was admitted to the emergency and procedure for heart attack( Myocardial Infarction) was performed by Cardiologist firstly through the right leg. As I was still feeling pain, then My Cardiologist checked in the computer and had seen some blockage in small coronary artery and performed procedure through my left leg. I remained in hospital for two day. After checking all my vitals my Cardiologist told that you are lucky that your heart is completely fine and no damage occurred to the heart muscle.
After surgery I was feeling very weak. As per doctor advise I had taken rest, good food, prescribed medicines and regained some strength. To overcome my weakness, I had taken few doses of Homeopathic remedy Selenium 30. It helped me to regain strength. Then my Cardiologist referred me for rehabilitation at the Washington Rehabilitation Centre. Where medical team gave me 36 day cardio exercises and got my strength again.
Here I would like to emphasize that although Homeopathic medicines are not a replacement for conventional medical treatment of serious diseases or infections but its timely intervention help. My timely taking Aconite 200 for sudden heart attack helped me in preventing or reducing the damage to my heart muscles. Similarly Selenium 30 had helped me in regaining strength after heart surgery.
