We think the Earth is pretty "tree-mendous." Honestly, it’s the only planet where you can get a good cup of coffee and enjoy a Michigan sunset, so we’re big fans of keeping it around!

We want to introduce a new RN Case Manager, who we are so excited to have join our Heartland Hospice, Fremont, MI team. Meet Erin! We asked her a few questions to get to know her. Here's what she said.

-I go by Erin.
-I'm going to be an RN case manager. I've been in healthcare for 8 years.
-To work in hospice is to work with someone at one of their most vulnerable points in their life, and if i can help make that transition with dignity and compassion - make that journey a little less rough, less painful ... That's what it's about for me.
-Fun and interesting fact - I don't have a belly button.

We would like to welcome Pam, a Nurse Practitioner who recently started with our Heartland Hospice Fremont team. We asked her a few questions to get to know her, and here's what she said!

🌟Name/what you like to be called – Pam

🌟What you do and how long you've been doing it – I have been a nurse since 2011 and an NP since 2018, with the past 5 years in hospice and palliative medicine

🌟What interests/drives you about hospice –I love to help people understand the value of hospice and to understand that hospice is not choosing to die but instead choosing to LIVE with quality and comfort for as long as they or their loved one has left to live.

🌟A fun/interesting fact about you – I LOVE ANIMALS, sometimes more than people! Other interests: I enjoy everything outside that involves having fun in the sun. I love sports and staying active. I am a wife and a mom to 2 girls, 10yo and 12yo, and have 3 fur babies and a bearded dragon.

We're so excited she's working with us and has already made a wonderful impact with her knowledge and compassion!
